4 civilians, two of whom were women, were killed, and 4 others were injured when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) collided with a Town Ace minivan on Kateb Road PD6. A few hours later, in the Pol-e-Sokhta area of PD6, a Town Ace minivan was the targeted with a remotely controlled explosive device (RC-IED); 6 people were killed, and 4 others were injured. All victims were civilians. So far, no individuals or groups have asserted responsibility for carrying out the deadly explosions.
