Nader Shah, a resident of Sepai village in Malestan district, was brutally murdered in the Bazar-e-Kohna (Old Bazar) area of Khas Uruzgan district. A butcher by profession, Nader Shah had traveled to Uruzgan province to buy cattle and sheep. Eyewitnesses reported that his killers skinned him before taking his life. His body was discovered on February 21, 2024, in the outskirts of the Old Bazaar area.
