A motorcycle struck a roadside bomb in Dar-e-Afghani village, killing one child, two women, and one man. The improvised explosive device had been planted by Taliban forces to target security forces but instead detonated when the civilian motorcycle made contact with it. The bomb was intended for Afghan National Security Forces but resulted in civilian casualties.
