Two successive blasts near Gula-ei-Dawakhana on June 1, 2021, caused the lives of 10 civilians and injured 12 more. The initial explosion occurred across from the Ahl-Albait Grand Mosque, with a subsequent detonation in the vicinity of the Almas-Gharb Wedding Hall. Both explosions involved an improvised explosive device (IED) planted inside a minivan used for public transportation in Kabul. The bus route transports passengers from Dasht-e-Barchi, a Hazara neighborhood, to downtown Kabul. No organization or individual claimed the attacks.
