On 22 March 2020, the Taliban attacked three security outposts in the Konjak area of Imam Sahib District, Kunduz Province, with clashes continuing for an hour until the Taliban escaped after air support arrived. A Taliban commander entered his brother's house in Yaka Tot village just before the house was targeted by an airstrike that killed nine civilians, including four women and two children, as well as two insurgents.
