Taliban forces stopped a territorial army vehicle, killing a security force member inside and two of his relatives, both of whom were civilians. A third passenger, also a civilian, was kidnapped by insurgents. The incident involved both the targeted killing of family members associated with government forces and the abduction of an additional civilian passenger.
