Narrative:
On April 12, 2015, anti-government elements ambushed an Afghan National Army (ANA) convoy in Tagab District, Kapisa Province. During the ensuing engagement, ANA forces fired an artillery round from a nearby base, which struck a civilian home. The artillery impact resulted in seventeen civilian casualties, including seven deaths (three women and four children) and ten injuries, among them three toddlers.
