Seven women and three children, all members of a single family, were killed when a roadside bomb struck a vehicle heading to a wedding party in the Wazir Valley area of Khogyani District. Six others were wounded in the explosion. The improvised explosive device detonated as the family was traveling to attend the wedding celebration, resulting in the deaths of ten family members.
