His Mother Lost Her Sanity Balance After the Incident

My son was born in 1988, in the Varas District. He was five years old when we migrated to the Kerman region, a part of Panjaw District in Bamiyan [Province]. [At first] he was very interested in school, and we enrolled him in a local school, which he attended up to grade 7. But due to the lack of facilities and shortage of teachers in his school, he started to lose interest.

Subsequently, he left voluntarily went to Iran, where he learned the trade of plastering. At 18, he returned to the country and married the daughter of one of our relatives. They were married for ten years and lived in somewhere else. Almost a year ago, [my son] came to Kabul from Panjaw and rented a house in western Kabul. He has four little daughters, but life was not kind to him and his family, and on the 23rd of July, he participated in the demonstration and lost his life in a brutal attack by some ungodly people.

After the accident and his martyrdom, his mother lost her sanity, her mental balance. According to the doctors, she has developed a neurological disorder. His wife and four kids live a hard life in the same rented house. I have become old and am also going through financial hardship. He was 28 years old when he was martyred. Losing a young child breaks a person's back. We have all been downhearted since then.
