He Would Always Tell Me He Would Go Overseas

Azizullah enrolled in Deh Dana School at the age of seven. He was attending twelfth grade at the Mehrabuddin School in Chehel-Soton. He always told me he was interested in going overseas after finishing school. I would tell him, “My son, what are you going to do overseas? Whatever you like to do, do it in Afghanistan and build your life here”. But he would always say that it was his dream to go abroad. On the day of the incident, his friends called him: “Azizullah, where are you, brother?” He told them that he was at home. They told him to go and join them in the demonstration. “What type of a friend you are, leaving us alone?” they said.
He joined his friends in Dehmazang. At around 2 p.m., the accident happened, and my son was killed at the age of 18. We were very satisfied and happy with him. He was a calm and well-mannered boy, and I can say he was fortunate. He was very social and respected everyone.
